Ronald Weasley: A Timelineby ~emmilinne

I was looking through some of my favorite deviants galleries and I re-stumbled upon these two drawings [link] and [link] which got me thinking.

Sooooooooooo, I assembled my own version of "through the years" featuring my favorite red-headed friend.

Obviously this is my version of Ron, not the movie version (Although Rupert did a wonderful job

) so I'd like to take the time to explain myself.

*as a disclaimer, Ron is drawn as roughly the age he would have been, although he may appear older or younger in each drawing.

1st year: Ron was just an ickle lad when he first began at Hogwarts, and of course Ron would not be complete with his furry (albeit treacherous) furry friend.

2nd year: This year Ron breaks his wand, perhaps he used this as a chance to get out of class work. It seems that here Ron is trying to convince Professor Lockhart that he can't possible do his homework with a busted wand.

3rd year: A main feature of this year for Ron was his ongoing argument with Hermione over Scabbers/Crookshanks, these fights with his friend put Ron in a constantly foul mood.

4th year: Two words - DRESS ROBES

5th year: Even though my drawings are usually based off of book Ron, the Order of the Phoenix Movie Ron was my favorite, so here he is just a quiet reserved guy, always loyal and steadfast.

6th year: Weasley is our King! I had to represent Ron's shining moments as Gryffindor Keeper.

7th (?) year: Ron's loyalty was truly tested through the search for the Horcruxes, but in the end Ron proved he was as true and faithful as ever to his friends.

I love the idea of this drawing!^^ And Ron is my favorite character (with the great Dumbledore!), so I thank you for this work, because this is very near of my vision of Ron!

This is amazing! I've never seen a better version of Ron (not counting the movies of course), and this is just awesome (I'm a sucker for a nice and nostalgic character timeline)!
